Dad's 50th Birthday Celebration at Ichiban

Dad finally has finally live pass half a century on Oct 7, 2012 (Sunday)! Happy 50th Birthday, dad! It's a shame my younger sister wasn't here with us to witness Dad's most valuable moment.
Compared with my half-centurian dad, I have not even live a quarter of century, not until two to three years time!! No mockery involved. It was merely a statement of fact..

Trash aside, we made our way to Parkway Parade for a meal together at Ichiban Boshi. Prior to that, dad seemed to have a thirst to taste the food at the chinese seafood restaurant next to Ichiban, named Pu Tien. However, when he noticed the reluctance in my eyes he decided that we would eat in Japanese Restaurant

Sigh, I feel so unfilial.
The reason why we chose Parkway Parade for Dad's celebration was for the end of my convenience as I was working at Best Denki in the same building. Haiz, why out of 365 days, Oct 7 and Lantern Festival must fall on Sunday!! Nope, I should ask why out of so many Sundays I couldn't remember these two days fall on a Sunday. LOL!

An array of delicate sushi and Japanese delicacies!

The whole time Dad wasn't enjoying the cuisines this Japanese restaurant could provide. I don't really comprehend why Shantelle and Ding Sheng ordered Sashimi (raw fish) and I never will ever understand what makes the taste of a raw fish that awesome. Dad doesn't adore the idea of raw fish, claiming that eating them up excessively would make our stomaches spoilt!
An array of delectable sushi moved along on the conveyor belt.
Dad grimaced between each bites of the raw fish. I should have videoed down his amazing, priceless expression and titled it Dad's Response to Sashimi.
Gayness overload. LOL
Look at dad! I'm sure the whole meal his face was that grumpy.
That's my Teriyaki Chicken Don!!!
You are turning 50!
Happy Birthday, Daddy!

The bill will be shared among the rest of us. In the meantime, I am unable to pay back the money until I received my salary. Sigh, so many debts to pay off. Right now, I don't even have a single cent in my bank!

Upon paying the bill, my family sent me off to work at Best Denki!!

Happy 24th Birthday, Keith!!

First and foremost, HAPPY 24th BIRTHDAY!!!
I personally know you for two freaking years. Remember the first day we met, both of us quickly became friends because we were the last junior batches. The rest you could see on their camp passes were displaying '12/10', ' 03/11', '06/11' et al. The seniors and their favorite line 'where got time?' were everywhere and the remaining of us the 2012 batch were waiting painfully for our turn.

Whereas displaying on our camp passes were '08/12' & '10/12'! See how time flies, now you had already completed your NSF liabilities and I am left with 17 days in service!!
To: My friend, Keith.
It's really a shame that we didn't plan properly for your birthday. Please pardon us for the crumminess and disorganized outing. Yes, I admit it was my fault for allowing such things to happen:

1.   I could have bought a less expensive and smaller cake instead of a $29 Bread Talk Chocolate Cake .
2.   I shouldn't have borrowed money from birthday boy to buy a birthday cake for a him (very insincere).
There was a card error in Keith's Camera, so all the pictures with the candles lit up was gone.
 Me & Keith
 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Friends' displeasure over an EXPENSIVE CAKE
Jasper was sure that he had really bad financial issues and the failure of understanding his conditions really made me a lousy friend. Kelvin and Jasper (really made A LOT of noise over the phone, Keith can witness that) have the rights to make noise because I didn't clarify with them what they really want.

However, I felt a little bit of unfair if we were to share among the others (since they were not free on Saturday's night). In the end, we split the share among the three of us (Jasper, Kelvin & Hui Jie). I ended up paying more than half of the portion.

Me - $16
Hui Jie - S$5
Kelvin - S$5
Jasper - S$3

And as for the Wee 'Sparta' Kiat's Birthday Outing, I really apologize for the failure of attending the mentioned event due to work commitment. I hope you enjoyed the supper with us at Simpang Bedok!

Happy 21st Birthday, Wei Siang!

We were both glad that Wei Siang likes the present we gave him yesterday! He's going to like ' I have never receive such an expensive present from someone I barely know for a few months.' Maybe?

I'm sure he was pretty touched and teary when he saw the cake we bought for him. When we handed the cards we made, he was really delighted. At least our effort did not go in vain!!

'I am really fuck-up. I feel so bad right now for making fun of you, Kenneth!'

Both OC has made plans to present the birthday card to Wei Siang during one of the briefs on Thursday. It seems that it is unlikely to succeed because:

1.     Wei Siang will be taking off on 13/09/2012 & 14/09/2012 (actual birthday)
2.      We have already presented to card to him yesterday.

Happy 21st Birthday, bro!

Now we have to think of Kenneth's present already. Wei Siang suggested that we should buy a PS3 for him. He said he didn't mind spending more to buy game CDs for him too. Come to think of it, Kenneth actually rarely play games (yes, I queried with him on that) and I hope he wouldn't feel unhappy with that. He won't actually. In fact, he will play the games we bought for him. We know him too well.

Wei Siang joked, 'We should actually arrange Anna (the girl Kenneth holds a torch on) to meet up with us to celebrate his birthday'. Not a bad idea. But we don't know if he will ever still like her in December. We will see how thing goes.

Birthday Preparation

This is so true when describing the situation I stuck in.
