Christmas Chalet

According to our Overall-in-charge, Jasper Tan, our two days one night chalet at Downtown East would probably happen between Dec 23, 2012 and Dec 25, 2012. Each night would cost about S$239.00 each.

Problem persists. We can't expect everyone to be available on these three days because most of them must have already made plans prior to that. Look! We probably would receive more problems like this:
In order to relieve his burden, Jasper has also assigned roles to each individual for the event as follows:

General Manager(s)
Jasper Tan

Food & Beverage Manager(s)
Keith Peh
Christopher Tan

Games Manager(s)
Jasper Tan
Kelvin Kang
Ryan Ong

Financial Manager(s)
Kelvin Kang

DARING TEST
In the view of that, Jasper also added that a 'daring challenge' would be included in our games' list. According to him, the aim of the challenge is to  facilitate a courage test for everyone by goading more people to wear a 'three-sided trunk' whist swimming.

OUR THOUGHTS ON JASPER'S PLAN
I refuse to beat around the bush when it comes to issue like this: bad planning. To pick a leaf out of Jasper's plan during our previous birthday celebration, he did not take any initiative to buy cakes and other necessary items to facilitate the celebration. Looking at the number of people turning up for the event, it shows that he is bad at planning. Why can't he choose a more appropriate and decent day so that everyone can be present at the event?

Worst still, he as an overall-in-charge did not turn up for the event claiming that he had suffered from Migraine. Hence, Keith and I personally have picked flaws in Jasper's planning with a confluence of few factors:

1.   He did not properly check the availabilities of everyone.
2.   Lack of buffering time, e.g. 2 months before the event commences

OUR PLAN
I don't want to say both Keith and I are better planners. However, we are more meticulous when it comes to financial issues. Yes, we acknowledge the fact Jasper has put in his utmost effort into this plan. In fact he could have done better if Jasper bothers to focus on minor details, and by making necessary adjustment to facilitate better convenience to the majority.

PROCEDURES
1.   Check the availabilities of invited guests at least 6 months in advance of the event.
2.   Make a confirmation of number of people attending for the event.
3.   Calculate the amount so that it meets everyone's budget.
4.   Book an ideal chalet/ resort upon confirmation.
4a. Contributors are advised to follow along with the OIC to facilitate the payment of the booking. [Purpose: To ease the trust issue between contributors]
5.   Plan the itineraries within last three months prior to the event.
6.  A debt collector will move around the chalet to collect fees from the guests. [Purpose: To facilitate a relief on our financial strains]
