Our Legoland Trip Part 2

Lets look at the map of the Legoland. Basically we had already explored the whole park within the first 4 hours. Thunder lashed across the land and followed by a downpour. We had no choice but to wait out the storm at Build and Test at Imagination.
LUNCH AT PIZZA MANIA
There were an array of delectable foods located at various restaurants across Legoland Malaysia. Majority of the time before lunch, we were in groups of three or four scattering around in the labyrinth of legos.
Yu Teng's Green Dino!
I hereby announced to everyone here that I'm on diet so I'm not keen to feed myself on pizzas and soft drinks. Salads will be my lunch.
The payment counter. The payment method is similar to IKEA and USS in Singapore. Consumers are required to bring their foods to the counter for payment. Weird it may sound, but personally I feel that this is one of the most of the effective ways to control the crowds.
I love Ribena. See! That's why Legoland is meant for kids. They pander to their likings by providing Ribenas.
The spaghetti bar.
I love the way they let their customers handle their own servings. It's a like a buffet, all-you-can-eat at the same price (RM12). Being a typical Singaporean, I grabbed whatever foods I found in the salad bar and made a mountain out of it. But there is one thing I differ from them is that I finish them up.
OBSERVATION TOWER
xxx The Observation Tower is the tallest point in Legoland Malaysia. According to Mr Siegfried Boerst, the General Manager of Legoland Malaysia, the total height of the Observation Deck is 10 metres in diamentres with space for up to 50 guests per ride, up to 1000 guests per hour. The total height of the Observation Tower is 60m, and weighs 115 tons.

Viewers will be lifted to a height of 41m and the propelling core of the tower is 2 metres in diameter. It takes about 50 seconds from ground level to the top!

Thrill rides after food is a no-no for everyone as it may induce vomiting or more serious consequences. Hence, going for the ride at the observation tower was a perfect plan.
When botaphobic started to attack Chee Choon, he panted and almost went breathless. When the rest detected his fear and anxiety, the impish kids started to made a lot of unnecessary comments to scare him further. When fear got better of him, he squinted his eyes really hard.
180 degree of bird's eyes view of Legoland Malaysia!

Every centimeters the deck rose, intensive fear ballooned in Chee Choon's heart. When the tower started to jerk a little, he would jump a bit and trembled. It felt like the deck might fall anytime to him.
Chee Choon heaved a sign of relief when the deck landed on the ground.
4D MOVIE - A CLUTCH POWERS 4-D ADVENTURE
A crummy movie experience at LEGO STUDIO 4D. Imagine we spent about 25 minutes queuing under the rain (not exactly, just want to make the situation sounds worse) and spent less than 15 minutes watching the video due to technical problems.

Yeah, because of the drizzle we couldn't go for rides and we had to explore other entertainment to fill up our time there. Back to topic, the big screen of the movie theatre hang out of sudden. For a moment we thought it was a gimmick set up; but how could the image stuck for like 5 minutes? Nobody in the theatre bothered to report the problem to the staff there.

It was then, a malay female staff rushed in and apologized to us that there's some technical problems. To make matter worse, she requested us to move out of our seats and re-queue for the movie again. Crazy! Who in the right frame of mind would do that? The content of the movie wasn't even fabulous, albeit the 4-D effect was really stupendous.
Shantelle's photography skills were crummy. I had to crop some distractions out to make this picture looks a little bit professional.
Well, that's my photography outcome. Hui Jie does spoil the family portrait brutally honestly speaking. However, if I were to ask Hui Jie to take over my place, this picture will not turn out any better.
4-D Glasses on!
The interior of the the theatre!
The exit of the theatre.
BUILD AND TEST AT IMAGINATION
the kids' paradise!
MINILAND
After the storm was over, the kids went out to play the remaining rides while the rest explored every nook and corner of the Miniland.
CASTLE AT LEGO KINGDOMS
We only had about less than 15 minutes for photoshoot at Kingdom as we needed to be back to the entrance for the bus back to Singapore. We wasted no time and took as many photos as we could.
SOUVENIRS, SOUVENIRS, SOUVENIRS
After we gained entry to the gift shop The Big Shop, I wasted no time to find something nice for my two good friends at 708 SQN. I knew they are worthy of my efforts for souvenirs. For the record, I don't have the habit of purchasing mementos for people ...

Look at what I bought for them. They may look rather cheap but heck, they costed me RM9 each.
HOME!
It was a pretty nice day out in Legoland Malaysia. We were fascinated with what we saw and experienced but it'll be so much better to see improvements on the park and its services, particularly the 4-D Movie as we MAY consider reviist in the near future
I absolutely like to experience the Legoland Malaysia Resort to be delivered on 2013 and the Legoland Malaysia Hotel that’s scheduled to be operational by 2014.
