Batam Indonesia Trip Day 2 Part A

A fresh morning air welcomed us when we woke up from the Hotel's bed in Batam. Sceneries of the beautiful island as the backdrop for the hotel makes a perfect choice.

At first sight, the hotel looked pretty run-down. When we reached the hotel room, it actually made our day when the accommodation was pretty much sufficient. The room were very clean, spacious and cosy. SGD68 for such a huge hotel was quite worth the price. Compared to what we had back in Genting was a far cry from what we actually enjoyed in Batam.
Personally I have no issues walking along the corridor on my own. Some visitors who stayed there complaint that the hotel was spooky and creaky because of its lightings. According to the Executive Assistant Manager at Batam Golden View Hotel, the lighting was installed in accordance to the requirement for guest to get a supportive atmosphere for a good rest and relaxation.

Our room card.
I thought it was hilarious and superfluous that someone actually wore a pair of socks and covered shoes to Batam. No offense. Maybe I was the one who should felt like a klutz for not wearing them because some of the road we stepped on the night before was jagged and uneven.
It seemed like Wei Siang didn't had adequate rest the night before.
Heck, we only managed to discover three bottles of complimentary mineral water in the morning!

How awkward can Kenneth be by holding a toothbrush and a cup of coffee.
