August Batch ORD Dinner

To celebrate the Operational Ready Day (ORD) of two ACC friends, namely Keith & Christopher, a sumptuous dinner was organized yesterday at the Korean's Restaurant Two Days One Night in Tampines Mall. The restaurant Swenson was later chosen for the ends of saving cost for our dear Jasper who is currently jobless and in a dire need to be more thrifty.
Sigh! He shouldn't have let his personal shortcoming affects the workability of our whole plan as a whole. Seriously, there's an indispensable need for Jasper to learn how to accommodate with the majority or at least know how to communicate calmly and amiably if he wants things to work out his way.

For goodness' sake, it was only just a trivial matter, why got so riled up? His incessant grumbling and rambling could have evoked everyone into a bitter dispute. What's worst, other people in the queue were throwing us mocking stares and yet Jasper didn't really care about it. If there's a hole, I really wish I could just hide inside and never come out. We were all like, next time we will come ourselves and eat in that Korean Restaurant.

Now you see the reason why I actually abhor the notion of big group outing? Arguments are almost inevitable because all of us have different sets of ideas and thoughts. If one guy decides to disagree with the rest, and everything will go chaotic. Fortunately most of us were not calculative and understanding; and we decided to give up on those mouthwatering Korean's cuisine.

At 2000hrs, all of us already gone ravenous and yet we were still roaming between malls for places to dine. I don't know if Christopher was serious with this issue as all his suggestions seem to be associating with places like coffee shops or restaurants that offer steep prices. After an exhaustive pondering and a long discussion, we found ourselves queueing up for Swenson.
Indulging in the awesome, tasty chicken spagetti!
Discussing about what the day offered us in the office
 Listening to jokes?

Jasper: I want to take picture with boss
Roger follows suit: Leonard, leonard I want to take with you
Everyone was indulging in merrymaking under the dim, warm light; sounds of convivial merriment were everywhere around our table. Keith appeared to be a little down in the dump, and he decided to have some peace time for himself by playing the games with his DS till the foods arrived.

The rest were enjoying each other's company by telling each other stories of their lives. Jasper and Leonard were discussing merrily about the Euro Cup whilst Christopher was telling his fascinating SIM Orientation stories to all and sundry. Time flies, really flies. Three weeks ago, we were celebrating Jasper's ORD and now, it's our two friends' turn to their Pink I/C day! For the record, Leonard left with 22 days while I still have 65 days left to ORD.
 Look here, peers!

Delicious American Bites - Desmond's order.
After a 1.5 hours' merrymaking, we decided to have some memories taken down with my Sony Semi-Professional Camera. We took turns for a series of fun snapshots!

Our two then-docu clerks, namely Jasper & Roger
I definitely think this is one of the best shots we took for the evening.
The ORD personnel - April, July and finally the August Batch

 The ORD-to-be emo boys
I'll be receiving this two months later!
After we settled the bill (about $150) for the dinner, I suggested that we could also take some photos outside Swenson's. Jasper came up of an idea that he learnt from his church(my guess) that we could pose in the way we wanted with the condition that he would snatch the limelight. Here it goes.
Suggested by Jasper, The Boss Pose.
 Boss Pose Shot 2
Roger Boss Pose. Suggested by me: Let's point at Roger!
We proceeded to Starbucks suggested by Roger after all the fun-filled photo-shoot session. Of course we were not determined to part with our hard-earn monies for an overpriced coffee. Hence, we gathered outside the cafe and waited almost fifteen minutes before we decided to leave without Roger.

You must understand us. We were all pretty vexed by Roger's dilly-dallyness, especially the part he could actually take his own sweet time making and instant-grammed his modeling pictures for his seven dollars coffee. We were heading for a more affordable priced beverage like Gong Cha.
Suggested by Hui Jie. Here's our last few photos for the day.

Next Outing: 04/08/2012 (K-session) at Somerset? After the collection of passport with Kenneth, I will be heading thereee for a three hours singing session~ <3

I shall bid you guys adieu for now. See you anon.

It's hight time to hit the hay now!
