My younger Sister, Daphne Ong is going for four months to China and will be back only by the spring of 2013!
It's hard to say goodbye.
That sentimental feeling engulfed my heart when my sister hugged and bade adieu to all of us. That moment was precious and unforgettable. Mom was deeply hurt by the 4-month long separation with her younger daughter. When Daphne hugged her the second time before she left for the arriving plane, both of them were crying painfully- mom's tears were priceless.
As for myself, tears formed up in my eyes when I witnessed such a touching scene. It reminded how unbearable my mom was when my elder sister left for China five years ago. It hurts me a lot to see them crying!
